Grant Boyhood Home - Georgetown, Illinois


From 1823, when he was brought here as an infant, until he left to enter the U.S. Military Academy in 1839, this was the home of Ulysses Simpson Grant (1822-1885), one of the great captains in western military history and the 18th President of the United States.
